Not sure if we are to turn this here or in class so I'm doing both

Sites I like

http://www.Apple.com

I like this site for many reasons. One would probably be because I like Apple, it seems that the more you like Apple, the more you like their site. There are many reasons I also like the design as well. First of all, it’s obvious that Apple has a lot of information to present, by using tab navigation, they do well having the large amount of information that there is divided and easy to navigate. It also helps that different sections are different colors, this helps some with giving the pages a uniform but a little different look. I also like their first page, it isn’t necessarily a splash page but it has whatever is the newest thing in a large image and the newest news for Apple right there where it is easy to find.

This site is a very different site because at any given time many people are submitting their art to become a part of the site. Taking that into consideration I really like it because it’s easy to find what you want and the newest images are right there for you to look at. I also like it because you can go through the archives and none of the pages take very long to load. The search is incredibly useful (recently they have made it a member’s only section, before that it was great). I also like the coloring of the site, it allows for the images to stand out and not add any distraction coming from the rest of the page.

Site I don’t like

http://www.screencapture.com/ezepro.htm

This page is my nightmare. This is one of the companies that is somewhat competition for the place I intern, so I have to check up on it ever so often. It has no navigation and everything is just thrown on a page, it looks horrible. The animated images on the top of the page are really just annoying and the large amount of random award images are ugly and need to be on a separate page. It appears to have no design layout or anything. What I think the most unbelievable is that they have been around for quite some time.
